Business Development Executive

Job Location: Remote (US Shift)

Bursys is looking for a Business Development Executive with extensive experience in Technology Solution sales and Account Management. To succeed in this role, you will leverage existing relationships and social media (LinkedIn) and target account-based reach to generate leads and bring in new customers. Bursys Group of companies offers different lines of software technology consulting, software development services and SaaS products. FieldEquip, a division of Bursys, is a SaaS cloud-based software product that offers field service management for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research:
  • Conduct thorough research to identify new business opportunities, including new markets,
    growth areas, trends, and customer needs.
  • Analyze competitors’ strategies to spot trends and opportunities for differentiation.
  1. Lead Generation:
  • Generate leads through various channels such as email campaigns, cold calling, and social
    media outreach.
  • Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for potential partnerships or business
    opportunities.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs
    and recommend solutions that align with company offerings.
  • Manage client communications and handle follow-ups in a professional manner.
  1. Sales Support:
  • Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales reports.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to implement campaigns aimed at lead generation and
    customer acquisition.

5. Networking: Maintain a database of prospects and industry contacts.

  1. Reporting: Keep track of sales progress and provide regular updates to management on
    leads, opportunities, and the overall performance of business development activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of market research and business development strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CRM software.
  • Experience in lead generation or customer service (internships or part-time work).
